Navy and white striped bedding design and adds dimension to a room and provides at least two colors to determine color scheme in room. Most of room styles work best with a primary color, a secondary color and an accent color. Use all colors of stripes if there are three or more colors, or add a third color throughout room if bed has only two colors.
If striped bedding three or more colors, use a neutral color or favorite color bedding on walls. Use a different color but similar on each wall if tapes contain five or six colors and you want a bright and colorful room. For example, walls could be cream, beige, light blue and medium blue if you’re existing light, medium and dark blue with cream, beige, black and white. Another idea is to paint wall opposite bed with a striped pattern that mimics navy and white striped bedding, leaving other three colors simple and soft neutral shade.
Add textiles throughout room that complement navy and white striped bedding. Hang striped valances above panels of solid curtains or two-layer curtains with two-color stripes. A solid carpet in one of existing color will work. Mix different models using same color scheme if you want something different, like a carpet in black and white peas to go with a striped bed together black and white.
