Small living room layout – Deciding on a living room furniture layout depends on the room’s main use. Most people entertain guests or watch TV in their living room. For families with children, the living room can double AA playroom. No matter how you use your living room, you can arrange it to get the most out of your room.
Focus on TV
Furniture placement emphasizes certain items or parts of a room. If you use the small living room layout mainly to watch TV, put on television in a prominent area. Arrange the furniture so that the TV is visible from each seat. You will end with a U or L shaped arrangement depending on the amount of furniture in the room. Make sure there are tables within reach of each seat for drinks and snacks. Use an entertainment with enough storage to keep all video and video equipment available.
Focus on conversation
If you use the small living room layout to entertain guests, avoid making television in focus in the room. Consider two sofas instead of a couch and a couch. Put two sofas facing each other on either side of the room. Place a coffee table between the sofas to create a comfortable separation. Place the TV beside the two sofas. It will still be visible, but it will not be visually intrusive. Place the lights on either end of the sofas to give plenty of light, and end tables on each side to provide space for drinks and snacks. Add Armchairs to the side of the room opposite the TV to increase the available seats in the room.
